Overall I thought our food was very good. I really enjoyed the bacon crumbled on top of the chowder. The shrimp po boy was very big, the fries were fantastic shark bites were very tasty both with or without the sauce. The service was as great as the scenery. And the ambiance was really cool.

Arrived just after the lunch rush with cousin & sister. Outside was still busy, and we got the last table under the shade. Shannon, our server, popped over quickly to let us know she'd be with us and took our drink orders. When she came back, she made us aware of the specials, and we ordered the calamari with marinara & Thai chili sauce and the daily special salmon fish tacos with rice. Cousin also ordered a salad with grilled chicken. Food was delivered promptly and drinks were kept full. There was absolutely nothing to complain about with the calamari, and I found myself drawn more to the Thai sauce than the marinara. Then I bit into the salmon tacos and thought I had died & gone to heaven! The slaw was just an accent to the flavor, and the salmon was grilled and cubed and moist. Considering I'm not a salmon fanatic, this was a pleasant surprise. A bite of cousin's chicken found it to be moist and nicely seasoned as well. We split a key lime pie which was delish and just the right amount of sweet. Check out was quick, and we'd go back in a heartbeat!

We (2 adults & 3 kids) loved our dinner at Pier 14. It was a Saturday night at around 8pm and we waited 35 mins for 1st available. So we ended up seating outside (high table and chairs) and it was awesome, think we had the best table. They had some good menu items that made it tough, almost got the blackened tuna, but settled for a good ole cheeseburger (their fries were good). Their ravioli sounded great too, but didn't come with fries so I went the cheaper option (what can I say I'm frugal). The kids menu was great and the boys enjoyed their popcorn shrimp and my wife had a grilled chicken salad with vinaigrette. It's a great spot, I could see it being very loud inside, so we really enjoyed being outside and it got cold enough on June 1 that we had to put our long sleeves on. I think you'll enjoy Pier 14, they have something for everyone. We'd sure go back again. Ooo, a little bonus after you eat at the restaurant you can go out on the pier which is sweet since you have to pay $1 (per person) if you just want to walk out on the pier, so that was a great little bonus.
